General Information

Koko’TEN | CCPT is an extension of a series of different art curatorial workshops and program exchange that will be hold at the Center with different professional curators who will be invited or apply to our residence program which will require them to facilitate too. The Koko’TEN | CCPT will introduce practice curators to the curatorial toolkit which is reflect of working in the business as a cur
ator and public gallery director. Although there are many ways to approach the curator’s work, I often describe in these toolkit, which our preferred approach based on direct experience working from inside an institutional context and as an independent curator/producer. The toolkit is meant as a recommended practices guide – a suggested framework from which practice curators may create their own working process.

Which will be follows by a practical guide that does not address many Theoretical issues relating to curatorial practice? The kit is an outline of the complex business of organizing exhibitions and related activities, and is not intended to be comprehensive. Finally, a curator can be more effectively do their work if they are aware of all steps in the process and for that reason the kit includes information about related tasks for which the curator would not always be responsible.

Practice curator will be encouraged to think critically about visual communication in their own lives. In creating their own way to meet the needs of the exhibition or event curetted and they will be given a chance to put their own personal research into mass production for the audience to benefit from it
